This piece started as a painting
But it quickly became something more
my brother and I grew up on flight simulators, downloading repaints, dreaming about airplanes we couldn’t touch yet.
Years later, he owns and maintains his own aircraft. a 1963 V-tail Bonanza. this painting is my way of capturing that moment… not just the airplane, but the weight of everything behind it for sure
